How to Get Here

From A12 Colchester
  1. Turn off at junction 17 (A130/A1114) and at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the A130 (signposted Basildon/Southend).
  2. After a few miles you will come to a roundabout (junction with the A1245). Take 2nd exit (signposted Canvey Island).
  3. After a little distance, you will arrive at Sadlers Farm roundabout (junction with A13 and actually a group of 5 mini roundabouts).
  4. Get into the middle lane to turn left at the 1st mini roundabout.
  5. For the 2nd mini roundabout you need to be in the right-hand lane turning right.
  6. Now get into the left-hand lane and take the 1st exit at the 3rd mini roundabout onto Canvey Way (following the A130).
  7. At the next roundabout take 3rd exit (signposted Sea Front).
  8. After 0.6 miles you come to another roundabout. Take the 1st exit.
  9. After 0.3 miles you come to another roundabout. Take the 1st exit.
  10. This is Long road. You will pass a BP petrol station on your right and the Catholic Church on your left. Keep going straight and then turn left opposite the Conservative club into Convent Road.
  11. At the end of Convent Road go straight across Lionel Road into Walsingham House.
From London A13
  1. Follow A13 to Saddlers Farm roundabout.
  2. Follow signs to Canvey Island A130 (keep to the right-hand lane).
  3. At the end of Canvey Way (junction with B1014) take the 3rd exit off the roundabout (signposted Seafront).
  4. After 0.6 miles you come to another roundabout. Take the 1st exit.
  5. After 0.3 miles you come to another roundabout. Take the 1st exit.
  6. This is Long road. You will pass a BP petrol station on your right and the Catholic Church on your left. Keep going straight and then turn left opposite the Conservative club into Convent Road.
  7. At the end of Convent Road go straight across Lionel Road into Walsingham House.
By Train / Bus
  1. Take the main line from Fenchurch Street in the direction of Southend/Shoeburyness, travelling as far as Benfleet.
  2. From Benfleet there are plenty of buses to Canvey – take any bus going to Canvey High Street and ask the driver to drop you at the Conservative club on Long Road.
  3. You will be very near to Convent Road – walk down Convent Road and Walsingham House is in front of you.
